Presidentís Column
 Dear Friends and Colleagues:

Before I embark on this brief President’s column, I want to thank Dr. Debashish Roychoudury for his invaluable time and efforts in maintaining high standards of this newsletter. It was only 3 months ago that we had a very nice educational and an enjoyable semiannual AACIO dinner meeting in Orlando, Florida. I offer my sincere thanks to Drs. Navin Nanda, Rakesh Sharma, Vibuti Singh, Narinder Bhalla and Sudhir Kumar Bhaskar for making this meeting successful. My special thanks to Mrs. Sajani Barot for playing a pivotal role in this endeavor. As this delightful meeting fades into shadows of our memory, the forthcoming April 3rd AACIO semiannual dinner cruise meeting shines bright in the horizon.

Distingushed Professor Navin Nanda, my long term friends Drs . Sameer Shah, Gopal Lalmalani and Mrs. Lindy Chapman have used a lot of their precious time and energy towards organizing the forthcoming dinner cruise meeting on April 3rd of 2016 in Chicago. I greatly admire the perseverance and diligence of IMA president Dr. Sameer Shah in landing the contract with Anital Dee yacht charters for this dinner cruise meeting.

I extend my warm invitation to each and everyone of you to join us aboard the Anita Dee II yacht to enjoy an exciting dinner cruise meeting filled with education, delicious dinner with drinks and a medley of music, networking and visiting with family and friends. While you may have several other meetings to attend, this is a unique gathering where there is something for everybody and much more. You will not only enjoy the enchanting Chicago skyline, you will also come across many interesting persons including some of your long lost friends you may never see again. Furthermore, I am greatly excited that the internationally famous urologist and a Bollywood style entertainer Dr. Amit Chakrabarty has kindly agreed to spend his precious time to entertain us during the dinner cruise meeting.

Please don’t forget to become members of AACIO in order to empower this powerful entity to make a difference in the lives and careers of cardiologists of Indian origin and/or ancestry.

Hanumanth K. Reddy, M.D.
President
